Presentation Description

This hands-on workshop will give participants a similar experience to those of students who are meeting CAS for the very first time in their learning of Mathematics. We shall use a wide variety of activities for the TI-Nspire CAS that are ideal for novice CAS teachers, covering such topics as solving linear equations, simultaneous equations, factorising, trigonometric equations, differentiation, rearranging formulae and conversion of time. This session is designed for new users of CAS, but experienced users are also very welcome.
